As the New York Yankees Double-A Affiliate, the Somerset Patriots develop today’s top minor league talent into the pinstriped superstars of tomorrow for Major League Baseball’s winningest team.

Competing within the Double-A Eastern League, the Patriots play their home games at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, NJ, where fans of all ages and levels of baseball fandom get to enjoy the unique experience that is minor league baseball.

DJ Lemahieu

Position: 3B
Time with the Patriots: 4/24/24, 5/17 -

DJ LeMahieu joined the Patriots on the road in Reading and played an inning before leaving the game. He returned in Somerset on 5/17 and singled in his first at bat, as well as reaching base all 3 at bats on 5/19 that included an RBI single.

Jon Berti

Position: 3B
Time with the Patriots: 4/28 - 5/2

Jon Berti joined the Patriots on the road in Reading on 4/28 and continued his rehab in Somerset. On 4/30, he drew 2 walks and stole a base. He went 1-for-4 with a R and a BB on 5/2.

Oswald Peraza

Position: INF
Time with the Patriots: 5/11- 5/16

Oswald Peraza returned to Somerset, where he starred during the 2021 season. He had 2 HR and 2 RBI in 5 G played with the team during his rehab assignment.

Tommy Khanle

Position: RHP
Time with the Patriots: 5/14 -

Kahnle overpowered hitters during his MLB rehab in Somerset, facing 9 batters and striking out 8 of them in a perfect 3 innings pitched.

Jasson Dominguez

Position: OF
Time with the Patriots: 5/21 - 6/1

Dominguez returned to Somerset where he starred for the team in 2022 and 2023. He finished with a .316 average, 8 R, 12 H, 4 HR and 8 RBI in 10 games played.

Gerrit Cole

Position: RHP
Time with the Patriots: 6/4 -

Over his first two rehab starts combined, reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole allowed 1 R in 8 IP (1.12 ERA) with 4 H, 9 K, and 0 BB. Cole retired the final eight batters he faced in a row with 3 K on 6/9.
