The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey is New Jersey's most dynamic and wide ranging orchestra. The orchestra performs a 4-concert season, a summer music festival, and a number of performances and collaborations throughout New Jersey. The orchestra works internationally with artists and organizations.
The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey performs music of all periods and styles at affordable prices. The Orchestra also supports young artists and audiences. They perform in organized concert seasons, and in special concerts, in collaboration with artists and organizations throughout New Jersey.
The Baroque Orchestra Venues
Many of the concerts presented by The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey take place in modern, comfortable Dolan Hall, located on the campus of The College of Saint Elizabeth. Dolan Hall is a luxurious, comfortable, acoustically sound site. An added, economical plus is the convenient FREE parking adjacent to the Annunciation Center, which houses Dolan Hall.

The Orchestra also presents concerts at beautiful Grace Church, 4 Madison Ave (route 124), Madison, New Jersey 07940. Parking is in the Grace Church lot or along Kings Road.

Our Conductor
Conductor and Music Director Robert Butts is the founder of The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey. He has led the Orchestra's development from a Baroque ensemble to an orchestra that plays a wide variety of the classical and operatic musical repertoire from all periods.
He has also been the Artistic Director of the BONJ Summer Music Festival held in Madison, New Jersey every August since 2006.
