Co-Founders: STACEY JARIT & JEFF SOBEL
“Since their first show at the 14th Street Armory in New York City (in 1982), Stacey Jarit and Jeff Sobel have forged a reputation within the industry for producing retail shows featuring quality work from some of the best artists in the country.” Craft Business Magazine
Stacey's (1952-2017) experience making one-of-a-kind cloisonné enamels at craft shows in the 1970’s and Jeff's keen eye as a city planner gave them an edge in creating Artrider after their favorite New York City show was cancelled. Three decades later Artrider has become an industry leader. They've seen their imaginings turn into hundreds of events that have brought together thousands of artists with hundreds of thousands of visitors and raised millions of dollars for very worthy non-profit organizations. Jeff remains president of Artrider since Stacey's passing in 2017.
