MONTVILLE, NJ – Hollywood comes to Montville as filming will be taking place in the township on Feb. 25.
But with the wow factor of Spielberg’s new UFO movie, reportedly starring Emily Blunt, being filmed at the Exxon on the corner of Changebridge and 202 comes the inevitable traffic.
Residents should know that 202 will be closed between Route 287 North and Changebridge Road from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and then again from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Feb. 25.
Drivers traveling from Montville to Towaco on Route 202 can use the following detours:
- River Road to either Millers Lane, Church Lane or River to Changebridge Road. Travel north on Changebridge Road back to Route 202.
- Schneider Lane to Changebridge Road back to Route 202.
Drivers traveling from Towaco to Montville on Route 202 can use the following detours:
- Route 202 to Changebridge Road to Millers Lane or Church Lane or River Road back to Route 202.
- Tractor trailers must travel: Changebridge Road to River Road
Emergency vehicles and school buses will be allowed through the area.
Access will be allowed to local businesses.
