The New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s Activation, Revitalization, and Transformation (A.R.T) Program – Phase II is a competitive grant program for nonprofit organizations aimed at catalyzing community placemaking efforts by leveraging the arts and cultural sector as a creative force for change. Funding will support the creation of public space activation initiatives, such as placemaking projects, public art installations, and arts-based projects, in the downtowns of 31 select municipalities whose commercial corridors have been significantly impacted by reduced commuter traffic due to COVID-19.
