Established in 1983, the Ziccarello family acquired the optical business, L.G. Ackerman Opticians located at 26 Waverly Place. Mr. Ackerman at that time had several locations in Morris County. Since 1983, The Eyeglass Shoppe has become one of the longest established businesses in Madison. There are only a handful of businesses in Madison with longer ownership. Rick Ziccarello had, as a Licensed Optician, over the years kept the focus of our business on assuring our clients the best care. After many years, we moved to a new expanded location 2 1/2 blocks away. We are now in a new building at 14 Elmer Street. Please stop in while we are working on our new shop.
