Welcome to the Independent Thrift Shop located at 33 Kings Road, Madison, New Jersey. The shop is located behind a dry-cleaning business, where there is a side entrance. The shop is staffed by all volunteers and all of the proceeds are donated to worthwhile charitable organizations. These include:

- Family Services of Morris
- Jersey Battered Women's Association

The mission of the Independent Thrift Shop as a non-profit organization is to raise money to give to worthwhile organizations supporting Madison and surrounding areas. Merchandise consists of household items, lamps, dishes, china, silver pieces, crystal, linens, jewelry, men's clothing, women's clothing, shoes, accessories, books, tapes, electronics, games, new gift items and an assortment of other merchandise that comes in from donations to the shop on a regular basis.
