MORRISTOWN, NJ – One of Morristown’s biggest annual events is just one month away, with the Morristown Festival on the Green set to return to downtown on Sunday, Sept. 27, from noon to 5 p.m.
Presented by the Morristown Partnership, the rain-or-shine fall festival will fill downtown with live entertainment, food, children’s activities, carnival games, fitness demonstrations, a beer tent and more than 165 exhibitors.
Multiple stages will feature live music throughout the afternoon. The Main Stage will be located at South and DeHart streets, while the Sound Stage will be at Morris Street and Dumont Place. Concert on the Green will bring additional performances to the historic Morristown Green.
The popular Beer Tent will return to Washington Street, offering beer and hard seltzer for purchase to guests 21 and older. The area will also feature music, cornhole and opportunities for sports fans to gather.
The New York Jets and Red Bull New York are also expected to bring interactive activities to the festival around the Green.
Younger visitors will have plenty to explore. Carnival games will be offered on North Park Place, while Kids Place on Speedwell Avenue will feature an inflatable corn maze, double-lane slide, three-lane obstacle course and other amusements.
