The state’s community colleges and NJBIA have scheduled a series of online presentations that will update the public on the progress of various Pathways to Career Opportunities initiatives related to rapidly growing industries where highly skilled workers are in-demand.
Leaders in business, industry, labor unions, workforce development boards, county vocational-technical schools, colleges and universities and community-based organizations are urged to participate in these collaborative meetings to gain insights into work that’s shaping the future of the workforce in these five sectors: Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management; Technology & Innovation; Health Services; Infrastructure & Energy; and Emerging Industries.
The dates of the six meetings are as follows:
- Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m.: The FY25 year-end reports on Infrastructure & Energy sectors from the Center of Workforce Innovation (CWI) for Construction and the CWI for Renewable Energy. To register for this free, one-hour virtual event go here.
