MORRISTOWN, NJ — Book lovers from across New Jersey and the region will have the opportunity to meet bestselling and award-winning authors when the Morristown Festival of Books returns Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10.

The annual literary festival will bring more than 85 authors to historic downtown Morristown for two days of author talks, book signings and family-friendly activities.

The festival begins Friday evening with its ticketed Keynote Event at Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) featuring bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell. Gladwell, whose books include OutliersThe Tipping Point and Blink, will discuss his newest book, The American Way of Killing: The Invention of an Epidemic.

Tickets for the keynote are available through the Morristown Festival of Books website.

Free Festival on Saturday

Saturday’s festival is free and open to the public, with no tickets or advance registration required. More than 40 featured authors will participate in sessions throughout downtown Morristown, including novelists, memoirists, biographers and nonfiction writers.
