Food lovers, music fans, and families are invited to celebrate summer at the Chester Summer Food Truck & Music Festival on Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Municipal Field, 134 Main Street, Chester.
Hosted by Just Jersey Fest, this popular annual event brings together more than 20 gourmet food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, specialty vendors, and refreshing beverage gardens, creating one of Morris County’s signature summer experiences. Visitors can enjoy an afternoon sampling a wide variety of cuisines while listening to live music, browsing local vendors, and participating in activities for all ages.
The festival also supports important local organizations, benefiting the Chester First Aid Squad while encouraging attendees to donate non-perishable canned or boxed food items for the Chester/Mendham Food Pantry. This combination of community spirit, entertainment, and local philanthropy has made the festival a favorite summer tradition for residents and visitors alike.
Guests can relax with craft beer, sangria, and margaritas while enjoying live performances throughout the day. Families will find plenty to keep children entertained with games, inflatables, face painting, and other kid-friendly activities. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as seating is limited. Dogs are also welcome at the event.
Admission is $5, with children under five admitted free. Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted. Free parking is available nearby.
