Red Bull New York has officially opened the new RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center, a newly built training facility aimed at strengthening player development and supporting the club’s long-term growth.
Developed in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, the 80-acre site centralizes all levels of the organization, allowing professional, developmental, and youth players to train within the same environment.
Centralizing development across the organization
The performance center includes eight outdoor fields, featuring a combination of natural grass and turf surfaces, as well as a smaller stadium setup for academy competition.
The fields are equipped with integrated camera systems and tracking tools used to evaluate performance and assist with coaching and player analysis.
The main building spans more than 88,000 square feet and houses training areas, dining facilities tailored to athlete nutrition, classrooms for academy players, and medical and recovery spaces.
Amenities also include hydrotherapy features such as plunge pools and sauna access.
Additional performance resources at the facility focus on monitoring player workload, supporting recovery, and using data-informed methods to guide training and health decisions.
Health partnership extends beyond the field
RWJBarnabas Health will serve as the official healthcare provider for the club, its affiliated teams, and youth programs as part of the naming rights agreement.
“We’re standing in part of this Red Bulls Performance Center, two incredible organizations committed to innovation and excellence coming together to build a world-class facility,” said Mark E. Manigan, President and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health.
“This facility is a testament to our collective commitment to innovation and excellence.”
“In the relationship, it’s more than just a name on a building,” he added. “It’s about reaching out to the community of 45,000 athletes in their youth soccer program. We look forward to connecting with and educating around healthy lifestyle and healthy eating, not only keeping them healthy so they can play sports effectively, but setting them on a path for true health for their entire lives.”
He also emphasized the broader mission of the partnership.
