Morristown, NJ — The Morristown Festival on the Green, Northern New Jersey’s largest fall community celebration, returns on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Hosted by the Morristown Partnership, the annual event is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors to Morristown’s historic downtown for an afternoon of live entertainment, food, shopping, and family-friendly activities.

The festival, now a cornerstone of the local calendar, will feature four stages of live music and performances, an exhibitor showcase of over 160 businesses and community groups, and extensive activities for all ages. Admission is free.

Music and Entertainment

  • Main Stage (South & DeHart Streets):
    Joe Bilotti’s Heart of Gold Band will headline from 1–5 p.m., bringing classic 1970s pop and rock hits to the crowd, courtesy of sponsor 40North Restaurants.
  • Sound Stage (Morris Street & Dumont Place):
    Performances include TropyBand Orquesta (12:30–2 p.m.) and Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns (3–5 p.m.), sponsored by Valley Bank.
  • Concert on the Green (Morristown Green):
    • Stone Soup Symphony Orchestra (12–1:30 p.m.)
    • MPAC Select Program Performance (2–3:30 p.m.)
    • Edward’s Violin Studio (4–5 p.m.)
  • Family Jam (Kids Place, Speedwell Avenue):
    Interactive performances will include Dinosaurs Arise (12–1:30 p.m.), Polka Dot! (2–3 p.m.), Miss Jolie (3:15–4 p.m.), and Wallaby Tales (4:15–5 p.m.), sponsored by HQ Plaza.
