DiningTourismRestaurant Lineup Revealed For 'Taste Of Morristown' Charity Event

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Food lovers, rejoice. The annual “Taste of Morristown” charity benefit returns to town next month.

The anticipated community event, which is now in its 20th year, allows residents to sample dishes and desserts from award-winning Morristown area restaurants, as well as enjoy musical entertainment, all while supporting a worthy cause.

The food festival is planned for March 4 at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel.

More than 35 Morristown area restaurants will be featured, as well as a wine and spirit tasting sponsored by Gary’s Wine and Marketplace. The event begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m., with a special VIP hour from 6 to 7 p.m.

“More restaurants will be added as confirmed,” event organizers said.

Residents can also participate in the “Operation Hunger” grand prize raffle, with all net proceeds benefiting the Morristown Rotary Club’s supported charities and service projects. Each raffle ticket costs $100, officials said.

The winners of the grand prize raffle will win a dinner for two at each of the following restaurants:

The Morristown Rotary Club, which was founded on May 1, 1922, has donated countless volunteer hours to community projects, including raising funds for 50,000 meals for seniors and others in need during the pandemic. Globally the club is involved in clean water and sanitation projects, as well as continued efforts to eradicate Polio worldwide.

“More than 35 restaurants participate in this one-of-a-kind food and adult beverage sampling event, all under one roof. Sample everything from classic French and Italian to contemporary fusion and American dishes, including desserts,” the Morristown Rotary said.

Tickets for the all-you-can-eat event can be purchased from a Morristown Rotarian or online, by visiting tasteofmorristown.org. VIP admission tickets are $125 per person and general admission tickets are $75.
