Morris County Vocational School District Recognizes Joyce Honda as Business Partner of the Year

The Morris County Vocational School District (MCVSD) is honored to announce the 2023 Business Partner of the Year to Joyce Honda. The annual award showcases the vital support companies and professionals provide for students.

This accolade reflects the outstanding collaboration between MCVSD and Joyce Honda, a partnership that has greatly contributed to the success and growth of career and technical education over the span of 15 years. Joyce Honda’s commitment to fostering educational opportunities and supporting the development of the future workforce has been exemplary.

“The Business Partner of the Year Award is a testament to Joyce Honda’s dedication to the local community,” said Scott Shaw, MCVSD’s Director of CTE. “By serving on MCVSD’s advisory council, providing work-based learning opportunities, and hiring students, Joyce Honda has played a pivotal role in preparing students for careers in the automotive industry.”

“We are honored to receive the Business Partner of the Year award from the Morris County Vocational School District,” said Tom Stark, Vice President for Joyce Honda. “The benefit of our partnership with MCVSD is mutual for the school, the student and Joyce Honda. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to recruit aspiring technicians. By giving students an opportunity to not only work on cars, but to understand the responsibility that comes along with the quality of their work, being held responsible to maintain a schedule and understanding that the automotive world is a bounty of opportunities.”

MCVSD extends its congratulations to Joyce Honda on this well-deserved recognition.
